As I sit at home thinking back to this crazy little bike ride we just got back from, so many things come to mind. Weather, traffic, hills, heat, cold, rain, drivers, lack of places to stay. It's been a wild ride! We never know what's going to happen when we head out on the road. But we didn't expect THAT to happen. For one thing, we both agreed that this wasn't our fav route. Way to much traffic, and just lack of places to camp or stay. Somehow it takes away from the fun when you are always looking over your shoulder for Melvin (Melvin is the guy who hit me with his car). Alot of people ask us what our fav trip is. It's really hard to answer that. It's much easier to answer what is our LEAST fav trip or one that we would do differently. This one for sure qualifies.
We did see wonderful scenery, met some new friends, enjoyed traveling by bicycle and very feel very blessed to still be able to do this. It's an awesome way to experience the country. I love to say that God gives us the desires of our hearts and blesses us the whole way. We are blessed!
